Attending physician was talking about how she had a flt3 aml patient that did not want to go to transplant. (Usually these patients relapse very quickly and need bone marrow transplant). But patient refused and is still alive 7 years later. Even though their prognosis is so bad, there is still those few percent that do decently well
today, a physician said that it was just as important to undo diagnoses as giving diagnoses. was interesting. a lot of times they just keep throwing on new diagnoses without re-evaluating old disease. all these stories of incorrect diagnoses. scary.

slept for 12 hours. first day in 2 months that i had a day off. don’t know what to do today. pulled weeds in the backyard. cleaned a few things. it’s a weird feeling.
disneyland is great. free food is great too. ate at mastro’s. most expensive steak i’ve ever eaten, but oh man delicious.
